Sometimes it’s better to hear it straight from the horse’s mouth. The developer of the ANR treatment, Dr. Andre Waismann explains the philosophy, mission and reasons why the ANR treatment is superior to traditional approaches of dealing with opioid dependency.

ANR Philosophy

Millions of people around the world suffer from opioid addiction. Opioid abuse is widespread without any effective treatment. Worst of all, the minority who do complete a treatment program are likely to relapse, and therefore more reluctant to seek treatment again. Opioid dependence requires professional medical care. Times have changed, and opioid dependence has finally been recognized as a central nervous system disorder caused by the continued use of opioids. Therefore, we must not judge, punish, or morally confront those struggling with addiction, but provide them with the medical care they urgently need to reverse the addiction, and manage it’s symptoms - withdrawal and cravings.

ANR Treatment

Traditional treatment options for opioid dependence are often based on the use of a substitute-opiate, such as methadone or Subutex (Suboxone). These forms of treatment often result in addiction and withdrawal symptoms themselves. By establishing a new regulation between receptors and endorphins, thanks to individualized treatments, ANR patients regain immediate physiological stability, unlike any other type of treatment.
